Citizen Stewardship Behavior Defined

The behaviors of citizens who a have awakened to the responsibilities of stewardship align with the following four commitments.

Interdependence

Citizen stewards, in word and action, recognize that all of life, including natureıs ecology, human society and the economies we participate in, is interdependent.

Stewardship

Citizen stewards, in word and action, recognize that with the unparalleled success of our species comes the responsibility to steward Earthıs resources and life systems.

Citizenship

Citizen stewards, in word and action, participate in the democratic process to ensure an open and civil society with justice and sustainable prosperity for all.

Legacy

Citizen stewards, in word and action, work to secure Earthıs bounty and beauty for the children of our childrenıs children, recognizing that the freedom of action of each generation is qualified by the needs of future generations.
